    I of the goals of the Dallas ISD Career and Technical Education(CTE) Department is to ready and provide high schoolhouse students with easily-on, work-based learning experiences by helping them to develop employability skills in preparation for high-wage, in-demand careers. We are committed to providing career-ready high schoolhouse students with the opportunity to participate and employ the knowledge and skills learned in a classroom setting through internships.

    Between their inferior and senior years, Dallas ISD CTE students are strongly enc ouraged to participate in a paid internship plan in society to proceeds valuable work-identify experience. To be considered for internship opportunities, students must complete this application and participate in all required internship grooming training sessions.

    Eligibility

    • Current inferior (senior in 2021-2022)
    • At least xvi years of age by the starting time of the internship experience
    • Must have authorization to work in the United states of america (not-profit opportunities may be bachelor for those without a work-allow) view I-ix class below to meet list of acceptable documentation)

    I give the Dallas Contained Schoolhouse District and its employees, agents, representatives or employees of legitimate news organizations my full permission to photograph, videotape, copyright, broadcast, reproduce, telecast or cablecast, use on the internet or intranet, publish or otherwise use my kid's works or my kid's photo or likeness for educational, broadcast or news pur- poses. This is with the understanding that neither the Dallas Independent School District nor its represen- tatives will reproduce said photo or likeness for any commercial value or receive monetary proceeds for use of whatever reproduction/circulate of said photograph or likeness.

    I am fully aware that I will not receive monetary bounty for my or my child's participation.

    It is understood that Dallas Independent Schoolhouse District, its agents, representatives or legitimate news organizations may use this material with or without my name or my kid'south name at its discretion. I farther release and salve the Dallas Contained School District, its Board of Trustees, agents, employees or other representatives from any liabilities, known or unknown, arising out of the utilise of this material.
